Trooper is one of the leading heavy-metal bands of Romania. Founded in 1995, Trooper have released 12 studio albums, most of them having received critical acclaim from fans and music critics alike.

They toured and worked relentlessly on new releases, counting over 1000 live concerts in the 28 national tours they did so far, having played for more than one million people.

During this time, 34 music videos were released and the singles received airplay on national TV channels and radios, with millions of views on YouTube and countless plays on streaming platforms.

Among other notable achievements are: opening act for Iron Maiden in Bucharest (2008), Judas Priest (2011), Whitesnake (2012), Deep Purple (2019), Scorpions (2011 and 2013), they played with Manowar (2009 and 2012), Europe (2012), Sepultura (2005, 2009, 2023), The Prodigy, Nazareth (2010 and 2011), Megadeth (2013), Royal Hunt etc.

The band is working on a new DVD recorded at Sala Palatului, in Bucharest, which will be released in September 2026.

Trooper a reușit ca în cei 30 de ani de activitate să ajungă pe aproape toate posturile radio și TV din România, să obțină milioane de vizualizări și ascultări pe platformele de streaming, și să cânte pe scenele celor mai mari festivaluri rock din țară.
