In 2013, Rockstadt Extreme Fest a luat nastere in Rasnov. Un festival creat pentru a oferi publicului roman o experienta europeana, cu formatii la nivel international, creat de simpli fani ai acestui fenomen. A debutat ca un festival de trei zile, pentru un numar relativ mic de participanti, iar amploarea sa a crescut in urmatorii ani. In 2025 Rockstadt Extreme Fest a ajuns un nume cu statut international, considerat de multi drept cel mai important eveniment de profil din Europa de Est.
In toti acesti ani am extins gradual resursele disponibile pentru publicul nostru. Am adaptat, am creat si am inventat noi solutii pentru a veni in intampinarea voastra, dar si a sutelor de formatii ce au urcat pe scenele festivalului, oferind o experienta, credem noi, cu adevarat speciala. Un efort comun.
In ultimii doi ani, numarul record de bilete vandute, dar si regulile de securitate cat si confortul necesar tuturor celor prezenti in zona festivalului, ne-au dat de inteles ca terenul de Biatlon din Rasnov a devenit un spatiu insuficient pentru necesitatile si nivelul la care Rockstadt Extreme Fest a ajuns. Asadar, am luat decizia ca editia din 2025 sa fie si ultima ce va avea loc in Rasnov.
Nu este o decizie pe care am luat-o in cursul unei nopti, ci mai degraba rezultatul unei situatii pe care o studiem, in detaliu, de multa vreme. Necesitatile tehnice din spatele scenei, dar si nivelul productiilor cu care formatiile isi doresc sa se prezinte in fata publicului nostru reprezinta un alt factor esential in luarea acestei decizii. Concertele si productia din spatele scenei au ajuns la un nivel european si ne dorim sa mentinem aceste standarde. Editia din 2025 va aduce imbunatatiri pe partea de scena, sunet si lumini. Totodata, nu dorim sa facem compromisuri in ce priveste siguranta si confortul publicului nostru. Scopul nostru a fost, este si va ramane acelasi. Sa oferim publicului nostru cea mai buna experienta posibila.
In acest moment exista o noua locatie deja stabilita pentru editia din 2026, iar detaliile vor fi comunicate in curand. Spatiul nou va oferi o suprafata mult extinsa pentru zona de camping, o suprafata considerabil mai mare pentru zona de festival, dar si mai multe locuri disponibile pentru hoteluri si cazari. In final, ne va oferi sansa de a pune la cale si a realiza intocmai experienta pe care ne-o imaginam pentru viitorul acestui festival.
Administratia orasului Rasnov ne va oferi si in acest an tot suportul necesar pentru buna desfasurare a festivalului. Rasnov are un loc special in povestea noastra, este locul in care noi ne-am nascut ca eveniment, iar din aceasta perspectiva ne-am aratat interesul si disponibilitatea de a crea un frate mai mic al Rockstadt Extreme Fest care sa ramana in Rasnov. Mai precis, un eveniment ce va avea loc la inceput de iunie 2026, in perimetrul actual al scenei Andrei Calmuc. Putem confirma ca aceasta propunere a fost acceptata si de catre Primaria Rasnov.
Am fost asigurati ca se vor depune eforturi si in acest an pentru suplimentarea curselor metropolitane ce vor face accesul pe ruta Brasov-Rasnov si retur, astfel ca accesul si transportul intre cele doua locatii sa fie unul facil.
Totodata, spatiul pentru editia din acest an va fi si el extins pentru a asigura confortul si productia tehnica pe care ne-o dorim.
Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2025 va fi ultima editie la Rasnov. Este o editie la care s-a lucrat din rasputeri, si un afis cu adevarat special. Este mandria noastra ca scena si comunitate. Tot ce facem a fost si va fi mereu pentru public. Noi credem ca in Rasnov am scris istorie si ne dorim ca aceasta ultima editie sa fie cu adevarat LEGENDARA.
Daca te leaga amintiri de ce inseamna Rockstadt Extreme Fest, daca simti ca faci parte din acesta poveste, sau daca ti-ai dorit sa ajungi vreodata la noi insa mereu a intervenit cate ceva, aceasta este ultima ta sansa. Vrem ca impreuna sa scriem istorie in locul unde ne-am nascut ca si comunitate, in locul de unde am pus Romania pe harta celor mai importante evenimente de profil din Europa. Cine si-ar fi imaginat? Impreuna am reusit!
Vrem ca Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2025 sa devina cea mai buna editie din intreaga istorie a festivalului. Stim ca putem, iar pentru asta avem nevoie de tine!

In 2013, Rockstadt Extreme Fest was born in Rasnov. A festival created to offer the Romanian audience a European experience, with bands at international level, created by simple fans of this phenomenon. It started as a three-day festival for a relatively small number of participants, and its scale grew in the following years. By 2025 Rockstadt Extreme Fest had become a name with international status, considered by many to be the most important event of its kind in Eastern Europe.
Over the years we have gradually expanded the resources available to our audience. We’ve adapted, created and came up with new solutions to cater for you and the hundreds of bands that have taken to the festival stages, offering an experience, we believe, that is truly special. A joint effort.
In the last two years, the record number of tickets sold, as well as the security rules and the comfort required for all those present in the festival area, have made us realize that the Biathlon field in Rasnov has become an insufficient space for the needs and the level to which Rockstadt Extreme Fest has reached. Therefore, we have taken the decision that the 2025 edition will be the last one to be held in Rasnov.
It is not a decision that we made overnight, but rather the result of a situation that we have been studying in detail for a long time. The technical needs behind the scenes, but also the level of production with which the bands want to present themselves to our audience is another essential factor in this decision. The concerts and backstage production have reached a European level and we want to maintain these standards. The 2025 edition will bring improvements on stage, sound and lighting design. At the same time, we do not want to compromise on the safety and comfort of our audience. Our goal was, is and will remain the same. To give our audience the best possible experience.
At the moment there is a new location already set for the 2026 edition, and details will be announced soon. The new venue will offer a much larger area for the camping grounds, a considerably larger area for the festival site, but also more spots available for hotels and general accommodation. Finally, it will give us the chance to design and realize exactly the experience we envision for the future of this festival.
The town administration of Rasnov will give us again this year all the necessary support for the festival. Rasnov has a special place in our story, it is the place where we were born as an event, and from this perspective we have shown our interest and willingness to create a smaller brother of Rockstadt Extreme Fest that will stay in Rasnov. Specifically, an event that will take place at the beginning of June 2026, in the current area of the Andrei Calmuc stage. We can confirm that this proposal was also accepted by the Rasnov City Hall.
We have been assured that efforts will be made also to supplement the metropolitan lines via Brasov-Rasnov and return, so that access and transportation between the two locations will be easy.
At the same time, the space for this year’s edition will also be enlarged to ensure the comfort and technical production we want.
Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2025 will be the last edition in Rasnov. It is a hard-worked edition, and a really special poster. It is our pride as a scene and a community. Everything we do was and will always be for the public. We believe that in Rasnov we wrote history and we want this last edition to be truly LEGENDARY.
