Non Est Deus

Founded as a one-man project, Non Est Deus has evolved over the course of five albums into a defining force of modern black metal. Deeply rooted in religious symbolism, the band’s lyrics trace a path through suffering, faith, guilt, and decay — from Job to Jonah, from enlightenment to damnation.

Under the leadership of Noise (Kanonenfieber), an uncompromising live formation emerged: four masked musicians, united in a ritual act of sonic violence. Their performances resemble blasphemous ceremonies — a fusion of atmosphere, martial aesthetics, and cutting melodic black metal.

Non Est Deus raises ancient myths and religious relics as weapons against emptiness, dogma, and moral decay.
