Take No More

Country: Romania

Take No More is a metallic hardcore band hailing from Bucharest, Romania. Formed in early 2014, the band quickly became a staple of the Romanian underground scene with their aggressive sound and strong DIY ethos. Drawing influence from classic American metallic hardcore acts like Merauder, All Out War, and Kickback, Take No More blends heavy riffs with raw energy and socially conscious lyrics. The band is composed of Mihai Parchisanu (vocals), Rares “Tzana” (guitar/backing vocals), Robert “Dante” (bass), and Malin Neamțu (drums).

Despite coming from a region with a smaller hardcore presence, the group has carved out a space in Eastern Europe’s heavy music scene, sharing stages with names like Madball and collaborating with peers such as Killer Viktim and Drop Out Of Life. Their debut EP The Real Deal showcased a more straightforward hardcore sound rooted in unity and positivity, while their follow-up, Shackled (released via 0331 Records), dives deeper into metallic aggression and lyrical anger.

Take No More stands out not just for their sound, but for their dedication to the community, their rejection of far-right influence in the scene, and their passion for music as a way of life. Their work reflects the hardships of Romanian youth, economic frustration, and a determination to find meaning and connection through hardcore.
