Fittonia emerged from a foundation rooted in melodic death metal, but over time, the band has evolved by incorporating electronic and pop elements into their sound. Their music is an experimental blend of layered textures—combining technical complexity with accessible pop structures, appealing to both seasoned listeners and casual audiences.

Formed in 2021 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, the band consists of six members: Rațiu Raul Dorian (vocals), Daniel Moldovan (guitar), Joldiș Vlad (guitar), Cătălin Laslo (bass), Dorian Emil (keyboard), and Rareș Gălățean (drums).

Fittonia released their debut single “L.Y.E.B” at the end of 2021, followed by “Identical,” “Neversea,” and “River.” Their live debut came in 2022, performing both at indoor venues and outdoor festivals. Highlights include a headline show in Cluj-Napoca with over 100 attendees, an appearance at Posada Rock Festival, and a shared stage with Dirty Shirt.
