Formed in1995, and now is 6 members band ,three original members Manabu Nakagawa(Ba),
Nobukata Kawai(Gu), Tetsuya Fukagawa(Vo,Key) with 3 new support memebers, y0shi (Gu),
Yoshimitsu Taki (Gu)、Hiroki Watanabe (Dr) .
The band was released 7th full aibum “The Fallen Crimson” with their new line up in February,
2020 and releasing a live album in November, 2020 (performed at Tokyo Liquidroom/JP).
October 2022,the band was released 10”EP ”Seimei” and toured in EU ,9country 16shows.
October 2024 the band released 8th full album “Eunoia”
envy has continuously played at festivals such as HELLFEST(FR)、FUJI ROCK
FESTIVAL(JP)、All tomorrow’s Party(UK) and played with various bands such as Explosions in
the sky、CONVERGE、DEAFHEAVEN,MOGWAI,ISIS .
envy were played HELLFEST’22 / Velley stage Headliner (cap,15,000p).
