Are there buses from Brasov to the festival?

Yes, there will be regular shuttles between Brasov-Rasnov and back, with several stops in between. Full info to arrive soon, including schedule, stops and where to buy tickets.

Can I get there by car?

Yes, but please DO NOT park close to the festival. Due to production and logistical issues, we strongly ask and advise to either use the designated parking area provided by the festival, or use the parking spaces available in the city of Rasnov. Can I get there by train? Are car sharing services available?

Of course, trains are available from all major cities in Romania and via Brasov-Rasnov. For further information, please check infofer.ro. We encourage you to use BlaBlaCar, and also Bolt and Uber, especially if you are a larger group. Taxis are also available in Rasnov at a reasonable price.

How do I get there from Bucharest?

Easy. If you are flying to Bucharest, use the train service that goes from the airport directly to the Central Train Station (that’s an aprox 30 min ride), then take a train to Brasov, some 2 h and 45 min away. From there, you can take a train or bus to Rasnov. Best to plan your trip ahead, please check infofer.ro for schedule and tickets.

Is the festival cashless?

Yes, it is. You will be able to secure a Rockstadt Festival Card that you can top up with cash or credit card at any of the Top-Up stations available inside the festival area. You can check your funds anytime at any of the bars or food stands. Merchandise is also paid via cashless.

Where is the camping area situated?

What can I find inside the camping area?

Both areas have acces to flush toilets and showers with hot running water and all needed facilities.

When will the camping area be opened?

From Monday, the 29th of July, starting at 12 PM, until Monday, Aug 5th at 12 PM. During the festival, camping runs 24 hours a day. Festival site will be closed between 5 am – 11 am.

What can't you bring to the camping area?

Pets, stoves, barbeques, electrical generators, sharp objects, weapons of any kind, guns, drugs or glass containers. The usual.

Can I bring food and alcohol in the camping area?

Yes, you can.

Can I park my RV?

Yes, there is a designated area for RV’s. Please check the festival site for informations.

What about my photo camera?

You can bring your camera, as long as it’s not a semi-profesional, profesional or with a detachable lens.

Is the festival cheap?

Yes, it is. You will find some of the most affordable food and drinks at any european festival, with a beer being less than 2 euros. There will be plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well.

Is the festival big?

We would say it’s the ‘biggest smallest’ festival around, with a capacity limited to 13.000 guests. That includes daily tickets as well.

Is the security cool?

Our team is comprised by festival veterans and long time metalheads. They know who is playing and what a moshpit and crowdsurf means.

Whill there be charging stations and lockable areas?

We will have charging stations ready throughout the festival area. Please take note that we do not take responsibility of any electrical items left unattended. As for lockable areas, if we find the right supplier, we will provide such options.

Should I be worried about wild animals?

As long as you don’t go in the wooden areas, you don’t have anything to worry about. But take notice, bears are present in the surrounding woods. Of course, they are not big fans of the music.

Will there be tickets available at doors?

Some might, some not. Daily tickets are already starting to sell out, full passes are available in limited number. We advise to purchase in advance
